HELA technology redefines rare-earth metal production by converting rare-earth salts directly into high-purity metal powders, eliminating the need for energy-intensive melting and conventional processing.
Using 99.9%+ pure salt feedstock sourced from primary producers or separation facilities, the meltless process produces consistent, micron-scale powders with exceptional purity.
The resulting powders are well-suited for advanced manufacturing applications, including additive manufacturing, enabling greater precision and scalability.
The proprietary platform enables production of anisotropic micropowders, including Neodymium Iron Boron (Nd₂Fe₁₄B), Samarium Cobalt (SmCo₅, Sm₂Co₁₇), and Aluminum Nickel Cobalt (AlNiCo). It also supports a range of materials such as Rare Earth nitrides (NdN, SmN, DyN, TbN, LaN) and master alloys (AlSc, DyFe, CuY, LaNi₅, FeNiCoCu-Y, Fe₂B, TiB₂, CaTiO₃).
By removing multiple downstream steps, the process reduces transport costs, minimizes material losses, shortens turnaround time, and eliminates the need for toxic reagents and gases, streamlining the mine-to-magnet supply chain.
